Visit Stone Lane Gardens
I enjoyed a beautiful drive to Chagford yesterday, a lovely way to finish the day. The sun was shining as I re-stocked some more of my sculptures. The arboretum is dotted with abstract art. There is still chance to see. These sculptures of mine are in the 'Tea Garden'.
This was my favourite, by James Shaw. For more information 'Google' the Stone Lane Gardens website and use the sculpture 2022 tab. I like his use of mixed media. I love the organic fluid shapes he has formed, with otherwise hard stiff materials. The way he uses the copper wire is great. I also like the inter-connected nature of them. Indeed, the theme was 'connectivity', so it links very well.
