The 'Bird on a Bulrush' has been very popular this year, mainly because I have been busy making more and getting them out there to be seen. I have just finished 6 more. They go outside now, so the bulrush can rust brown. I like the way the beaks all end up slightly different, and change the overall appearence of the bird. It has given me the idea of doing a bird of prey, in the same style. Proportionally the birds of prey are very similar, just larger with more specialised beak and forward facing eyes.
