Hello 2026,
I love this time of year.
I know it's darker; colder; wetter and windier, but that means we've got everything still to come. The days are getting longer, lighter, warmer, dryer and calmer. Plus, new artwork!
So, what am I going to make?
There are a few contenders I am currently looking at...
This year I want to return to a much loved bird within my collection, the wren. I first created this one in 2022, so 4 years ago. It has evolved a lot since then, but I want to re-approach it with fresh eyes. Eyes that have studied longer now and want to get deeper to the essence of wren.
Every year the gardens open and want new work for there visitors. Who doesn't like seeing new things?
